We’re Alba and Elisabeth, two mothers with more than 20 years of experience working in healthcare, helping improve the patient experience for large healthcare organizations. For most of our careers, our mission has been simple: make healthcare easier to understand, more accessible, and less overwhelming so people can make better choices for their health.
But over the years, we started asking ourselves an important question:
Why do we wait until adulthood or until something is wrong to teach healthy habits?
So much of health education happens later in life, when stress is high, routines are harder to change, and healthy habits feel difficult to build. We believe it should start much earlier.
Not from fear.
Not from pressure.
But through play, curiosity, connection, and joy.
This belief is personal to us.
We both grew up managing chronic conditions from a young age, and now we see many of the same challenges through the eyes of our own children. We know what it feels like to navigate health as a family. We also know how powerful it can be when children feel included, empowered, and capable of understanding their own bodies.
That’s why we created FeelBright Kids.
- We believe health can be fun for children and simpler for their grown-ups.
- We believe play is a child’s first language.
- We believe children can learn self-care when we teach through imagination, storytelling, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
- We believe health education is about much more than biology and physiology. It’s about resilience, consistency, confidence, self-love, caring for others, and learning how to keep showing up for yourself over time.
- We believe healthy habits don’t happen by accident. Today’s world is full of noise competing for children’s attention, often pulling them away from movement, mindfulness, creativity, and connection. Helping children build healthy habits requires intention from the adults who love them.
- We believe health can feel just as exciting as science, robotics, art, or discovery.
- And we believe children deserve tools that help them create more, connect more, move more, and understand themselves better, instead of simply consuming.
At FeelBright Kids, we value effort over quick fixes, perseverance over perfection, and progress over pressure.
Our hope is to help raise a generation of children who feel confident in their bodies, connected to their emotions, and empowered to care for themselves with joy.
